Gambling is the wagering of money or something of material value, often in games of chance. Popular forms of gambling include card games (such as poker and blackjack), eletronic gaming (such as slot machines), and sports betting.

- In a segment in the 1974 special Out to Lunch, Elliott Gould plays "the Kookamonga Kid," a gambler who finally meets his match -- Cookie Monster. They bet with cookies. The Kid wins the game, but Cookie Monster eats all the cookies anyway.
- "Dog City" features dogs playing poker, a reference to C. M. Coolidge's painting Dogs Playing Poker.
- Pepe the King Prawn, Kermit the Frog, Rizzo the Rat, and Clifford play a game of poker in Muppets from Space. Pepe wins with a pair of twos when RIzzo's four aces are set ablaze by Gonzo.
- Pepe, Rizzo, Kermit, Scooter, Gonzo, and Big Mean Carl have a weekly game of poker in the Up Late with Miss Piggy studio. In The Muppets episode "Going, Going, Gonzo," Joseph Gordon-Levitt takes Scooter's seat and swindles Pepe out of his hard-earned "Muppet money."
