Gérard Surugue is a French voice actor who dubbed Bobo, Andy Pig, and Big Mean Carl on Les Muppets (Muppets Tonight). He reprised Bobo in Joyeux Muppet Show de Noël (It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie). He also dubbed Flimnap in Gulliver's Travels.
Surugue has worked primarily in dubbing cartoons, anime, and video games and is the current French voice of Bugs Bunny, including Looney Tunes: Back in Action, as well as Droopy. He also dubbed Garfield on Garfield and Friends, Ren on Ren and Stimpy, Die Fledermaus on The Tick, Shocker, Nick Fury, and Captain America on Spider-Man, and Mr. Mxyzptlk on Superman. For French animation, Surugue voiced Joe Dalton on the 2001 Lucky Luke series, Geriatrix in Asterix and the Vikings, and Hercules on Spiff and Hercules.
For live action film and television, he dubbed Richard Kind in many productions, Martin Klebba and the parrot in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and Wayne Knight on Seinfeld. On-camera, Surugue played an inspector in an episode of the long-running series Les Enquêtes du commissaire Maigret.
