Gärtner Ralph is the gardener on Sesamstrasse. He appeared in episode 2482, where he helped Finchen to grow a flower.

Ralph told Finchen that to grow a flower you need to plant a seed in a flower pot, and give it water and some fertilizer and sun. When he heard that Finchen also read it a story, the gardener insisted that it would not work. However, it turned out that the flower liked the story and grew so it could hear more.
