Froggy is a frog who appears in Kids' Favorite Country Songs. The protagonist of the song "Froggy Went A Courtin'," he and his new wife Mousey show up in Elmo's room to offer him and Elmer some wedding cake. When Elmo asks what kind, Froggy eagerly explains that it's mosquito cheese cake, reflecting a culinary consequence of inter-species wedlock.

Elmo tactfully declines, which Froggy notes will leave more portions for him. However, he's unable to find a fork before Mousey directs his attention to a performance by Johnny Cash.
