The Friendly Coconut is willing to be anybody's friend. In the Mopatop's Shop episode "Something Special," customer Mrs. Tiger ends up taking the Friendly Coconut home to her daughter Tammy.

He is a recycled version of one of the Coconuts from The Muppet Show.
