A loaf of French Bread appeared in the dressing room scene with Hilda and Charles Aznavour in Episode 109: Charles Aznavour of The Muppet Show. When Charles points out to Hilda that it's not a French bread, the bread proves him wrong: "Oh, voyons, cherie! Mais j'ai l'accent français!" (Oh, look closer, baby! I do have the French accent!")

The puppet was reused as a background character in the Mopatop's Shop episode "Ghosts", performed by Susan Beattie.
