Marvin was known for his work on Broadway posters and playbills, including Two by Two (with Danny Kaye), 1973's Seesaw, the female version of The Odd Couple (with Sally Struthers and Rita Moreno), and logo design for the 1980 revue Tintypes. He illustrated children's books including the 1970 book Grover (no relation) and several Disney books featuring Winnie the Pooh, Aladdin, and the Little Mermaid. For album covers, Marvin's art adorned recordings of flamenco music, mandolins, and the likes of Lizst, Strauss, Mahler, and Rimsky-Korsikoff.
