Fred Lizard

Fred Lizard is a member of the Riverbottom Gang and plays the drums in the Riverbottom Nightmare Band.

He reappeared in episodes 403 and 404 of The Muppet Show.

For Goodspeed Opera House's stage adaptation, the role of Fred was played as both a hand-rod puppet and a live actor, and was originated by Colin Hanlon.

Notes

• The puppet's scaly skin was made from drops of hot glue that were then painted green. The same technique was applied for Snake's skin.
