Franziska Troegner on Sesamstrasse
Franziska Troegner (b. 1954) is a German actress who has played Ella on Sesamstrasse, beginning in 2003. She has performed and toured on stage with the Berliner Ensembles an has been active in German film and television since the 1970s.
Troegner's TV work includes Tatort and Polizeiruf 110, while film credits include more than a dozen movies. In 2005, she made her international film debut in Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, as Mrs. Gloop. Dubbing work includes Annette Badland in Miss Marple.
