Forgetful Jones' parents are the mother and father of Forgetful Jones on Sesame Street. Unlike their son, neither of them display a sense of constant forgetfulness. They live in Texas.

Both appeared on Guy Smiley's "This is Your Story" game show, a variation of the "Here is Your Life" segments.

A lavender live hand anything puppet was used as Forgetful Jones' mother in a sketch were they could not remember who was going on a cruise.
