Forgetful's dad in Episode 2723

Forgetful Jones' parents are the mother and father of Forgetful Jones on Sesame Street. Unlike their son, neither of them display a sense of constant forgetfulness. They live in Texas at the Bar-B-Q Ranch (as revealed in Episode 2578).

Both appeared on Guy Smiley's "This is Your Story" game show, a variation of the "Here Is Your Life" segments.

Forgetful's dad (performed by Jerry Nelson) appeared in Episode 2723 where his son honors him with a song about his roles as a dentist, drummer, and driver. He later is seen playing the drums for a segment, then gives the kids a talk about the importance of dental hygiene.
