Samson prepares a gift for Wolle and Pferd. He wants to tell them what it is, but they don't want to hear it -- it should be a surprise! But their determination to make the gift a surprise is tested by their natural curiosity, and they try to spy on Samson to figure out what the present is. Samson pretends that he doesn't notice their "undercover" operations -- but he has to keep giving them hints.
