In the park, Ernie wonders if his banana can make friends with Bert's orange. Bert thinks fruits can't make friends, but Ernie tries to convince Bert that the difference between the two doesn't matter.
Cookie Monster plans on eating a number of cookies corresponding with the number of the day. However, much to his chagrin, the number of the day is 0, so he is able to eat zero cookies. He decides to eat number zeros instead.
Waiter Grover serves Mr. Johnson a bowl of chicken soup. Johnson says that he can't eat the soup, and Grover can't guess why. "That settles it," Johnson sighs. "From now on, I'm bringing my lunch to work in a paper sack." He finally explains to Grover that he can't eat the soup because he doesn't have a spoon. (EKA: Folge 1999)
Kermit the Frog has four eggs lined up, and counts them. Suddenly, one breaks, he counts the three remaining. Another breaks, he counts two. Again, so he counts to one. With all of the eggs broken, he counts the chicks. Suddenly, they start running away, force him to recount them. (EKA: Folge 1271)
