Samson and Pepe are having breakfast together and Samson is really looking forward to get some honey on a slice of bread. However he discovers that the honey jar are empty. Pepe says that he will get some from the shop, but Samson tells him it's closed. Nils and Helen are not home. Pepe gets an idea he can conjure up some honey. Pepe casts the spell and some red honey appears in the jar, Samson concludes it tastes just like ketchup. Pepe tries again and this time Pepe gets turned into a bee. Samson is really hungry and he is still missing the honey, he then notice something close to them. Pepe tells him it's the place where bees keep their honey. Samson asks if there's honey in it, but Pepe tells him that the bees have to make it first.
Pepe is collecting pollen from the nearby flowers, Samson can't understand why it can become honey and Pepe begins to sing a song about making honey. Samson is still very hungry and really wants to return to their breakfast, but Pepe are not sure that he wants to be turned back to normal as he is enjoying being a bee. Samson tells him that there's no need for him to be a bee since the honey is now finished. Pepe turns himself back to normal and goes over and tries scrape of some honey for Samson however when he comes back there's not even a spoonful and Pepe tells him that it might take some time. Samson starts to consider if he should have some jam instead.

Ernie invites Cookie Monster over for breakfast one morning, and they sing a ditty about what they like to eat for their morning meals. Cookie likes a soft-boiled cookie with cookie juice on the side. Ernie likes a variety of foods, which he eats on different days. Afterward, Ernie offers to cook him some eggs, but Cookie misunderstands, tells Ernie to have the eggs, and eats the frying pan.
Mr. Johnson orders soup and a sandwich, and says that he wants the sandwich before the soup. When Grover brings the sandwich, Mr. Johnson has changed his mind, and wants the soup first. When Grover brings the soup, Mr. Johnson has decided that he wants the sandwich first. Grover ends up giving Mr. Johnson both the soup and sandwich so he can decide what to eat first. Mr. Johnson tells Grover that he has decided to get a cup of coffee before the soup and the sandwich.
A beehive is disturbing a little girl in her treehouse, so Thelma Thumb convinces the bees to move their hive to another tree surrounded by flowers.
