source and relevancy[]
Ignoring for the moment that there's no source for this having been a gift from Jim Henson to Buddy Rich, is this image relevant? Neat, certainly; but I can't see what it has to do with the encyclopedic value of the book. At best, maybe inclusion on Buddy Rich, but only if it can be proven. β Scott (talk) 02:46, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
- The source is listed on the Of Muppets and Men book page. I could scan the email I received from the Muppet Archive, explaining that it was a gift to Buddy Rich, but I thought a scan of an email would look pretty tacky. If people think it isn't an interesting addition, I don't mind if it is deleted.DrummerMan 03:33, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
- Where does this scan come from? I think it would be more appropriate at Buddy Rich. β Scott (talk) 03:46, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
- It's not a scan... it's a photograph I took. I own that copy of the book.DrummerMan 15:52, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
- What DrummerMan added to the article: "Information provided by the Henson Archive when researching a copy of the book autographed to "Buddy", who was determined, by the Archive, to be Buddy Rich." I'd say that's pretty good proof. -- Andrew Leal (talk) 18:00, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
