Wolle Sketches: Kontrollraum

From January 2010 to 2012, a new regular framing segment was added to Sesamstrasse, centering on Wolle in a control room, acting as a bridge to other elements of the show. Wolle has to start the episode, cue the segments, and end the show. Of course things don't always go smoothly, and his unseen boss has problems telling Wolle what to do.

Five unique sets of segments (with three per episode) were produced for the 2010 season, with five more sets being made for the 2011 season.

	2516	Wolle is trying to sing the Sesamstrasse theme song, but is interrupted by his boss who tells him that it sounds terrible, and asks Wolle to start the episode. Wolle stops the singing and pushes the red button. The episode starts as Wolle hums along with the theme.
	2516	Wolle is about to sneeze as his boss asks him to start the next segment. Wolle is still about to sneeze, so his boss tells him "Gesundheit!" and Wolle stops and says that he has not sneezed yet. Just then he sneezes and hits the red button that cues the next segment.
	2516	Wolle hangs upside down in the control room. His boss asks Wolle what he's doing; Wolle replies that he is fixing the lamp. The boss asks him who's gonna close down the control room then, to which Wolle replies that that's not a problem, he falls down and pushes the black button before he hits the floor and the control room goes black.
	2517	Wolle is eating spaghetti, when the boss asks him to start Sesamstrasse. Wolle replies that he doesn't have time for it now, then the boss mentions that there's 7 seconds until the show has to air. Wolle quickly clears the control panel and pushes the red button.
	2517	As the boss asks Wolle to start the next segment, Wolle is nowhere to be seen in the control room. Wolle then yells that the boss has to find him first, the boss then says that Wolle is hiding under the control table and Wolle pops up from under the table. Wolle asks the boss how he knew it, and the boss replies that it's the only place to hide.
	2517	Wolle is chewing gum at the controls, when he is surprised by his boss as he tells Wolle that it's time to close down for the day. The boss tells Wolle that gum is not allowed in the control room, Wolle quickly spits it out and leaves. But as he moves away from the chair the gum sticks to the chair and Wolle gets pulled back into the chair. The boss then tells Wolle that that's the reason why gum is not allowed.
	2518	Wolle is about to start Sesamstrasse, he hits the yellow button and all the lights and monitors in the control room go out. He concludes that it was the wrong button and pushes the red one instead. Everything starts up again and he declares that, just as he had thought all along, the correct button was the red one.
	2518	Wolle is playing on his electric guitar as his boss wants him to cue the next segment. Wolle quickly re-dresses and looks at the viewer, says "on with the show," and hits the red button.
	2518	Wolle is sad that Sesamstrasse is finished, when his boss tells him that there's gonna be another episode tomorrow. Wolle cheers up and leaves for the day.
	2519	As the boss asks Wolle to push the red button to start the Sesamstrasse episode, he is searching under the table for something. It turns out that he found a red button, so he can start the show. The boss tells him that it's the wrong kind of a button, but Wolle pushes it anyway, and the show begins.
	2519	Wolle has put on a tree costume, as his boss asks him to start the next segment. Wolle is having difficulties reaching the red button. Then he gets an idea, he yells "timber!" and as he falls down he hits the button.
	2519	Wolle declares the day to be over and pushes the black button, all the lights in the control room go out, and he fumbles towards the door.
	2520	Wolle is sleeping in his chair and at first he doesn't hear his boss asking him to start Sesamstrasse. The boss starts an alarm, waking Wolle up, who hastily hits the red button.
	2520	Wolle doesn't know what button to push to start the next segment. He tries the yellow, blue and green ones but they turn out to be wrong ones. Finally he hits the red one that starts the next segment.
	2520	Wolle is eating bananas at the controls, but his boss tells him that he can't leave for the day before he has cleaned up after him. Wolle pushes the banana peels down on the floor and says he finished cleaning, and leaves. But on his way out he slips on the banana peels.
	2521	Wolle counts down from five. When he gets to zero he cheers and says "Sesamstrasse time" and pushes the red button.
	2521	Wolle is drinking bottled water when the boss asks him to start the next segment. He lets out a small burp and ducks under the table. The entire screen shakes as he burps again. Afterwards he pops up, says "on with the show!" and pushes the red button.
	2521	Wolle is happy with a flawless broadcast. The boss asks Wolle not to be so happy, Wolle just laughs at him and asks "what can possibly go wrong?" Just then, a lamp falls down and hits Wolle on the head. The boss tells him that a lamp could fall from the ceiling, for instance.
	2581	The boss tells Wolle that it's time to push the red button. He then notice the strange setup that Wolle have made. Wolle tells him that it's his "full automatic red button pusher". He activates the machine on the yellow button and the hand slaps Wolle in the back of the head so he hits the red button
	2581	Wolle shows his boss how he can balance things. The boss tells him that it's time for the next segment and Wolle slowly moves over to push the button and afterwards drops it all.
	2581	The boss tells Wolle that the day is over and that he can turn off the lights but Wolle is nowhere to be seen. It turns out that he is up in the ceiling as he wants to dive down and push the button. The boss realizes that something bad is about to happen. Wolle dives down but is tangled up in his rope and stops just above the button. And just as they both thinks that Wolle is unable to turn the lights off, the rope snaps and Wolle lands on the button as the lights go out.
	2582	Wolle has gotten a bunch of new red buttons, just in case his original red button breaks. But when he is told to start Sesamstrasse he gets confused as to which one is the real button. He manages to whisk the spare buttons down off the counter and pushes the one left behind.
	2582	Wolle is in the shower when the next segment should be cued. The boss calls him in to the control room. Wolle hurries in to push the red button and notices that he has dropped his towel and hurries out again.
	2582	Wolle is having a hard time finding his way around the control room, he has gotten a pair of sunglasses and thinks he looks cool. However he is a bit confused when the boss asks him to turn off the lights, as he thought they were already turned off. But he manages to fumble his way to the switch and turns off the light.
	2583	Wolle is in a bathtub in the control room, when the boss tells him that the kids want to watch Sesamstrasse. Wolle is not surprised; of course they want to watch Sesamstrasse, but when should it start? The boss tells Wolle that it should begin now, Wolle quickly pushes the red button and slips down in the bathtub again.
	2583	Wolle interupts the boss as he is about to tell him to start the next segment, as Wolle is prepared for just that. Wolle releases the 1000kg weight that he has hung over the red button just for that.
	2583	Wolle has disguised himself as a rocket as he wants to take off, the boss is not to sure about that. Rocket Wolle takes off, but breaks up as it hits the roof of the control room and Wolle lands on the controls. The boss asks if he is alright, Wolle replies that he is, but he thinks they might have an open skylight now.
	2584	Wolle is stacking cans on top of each other, when the boss asks him to start Sesamstrasse. He tries to push the button without knocking down the cans, but ends up knocking them down anyway.
	2584	Wolle is pretending to be Tarzan, when the boss asks him to cue the next segment. Wolle swings down to the red control panel and says "Me Tarzan, you button" and pushes it.
	2584	Wolle has invented a new ball machine, when the boss tells him to turn of the lights. Wolle doesn't want to turn of the lights, since he wants to play with his new machine. Then the machine starts to throw out more balls by itself and Wolle ends up being knocked into the black button so the lights are turned off.
	2585	Wolle has built a card house and is asked to start Sesamstrasse, but he can't reach the red button due to the card house. But the boss insists and Wolle has to reach through the card house to get to the red button and as he does that the house collapses.
	2585	Wolle has dressed up like Robin Hood as he wants to start the next segment with bow and arrow. He fires the arrow at the red button but misses, he quickly take a few more shots that also misses. He decides that next time he will dress up as an Indian as they shoot better and he then goes over to push the button.
	2585	Wolle has disguised himself as a balloon, but can't seem to turn off the lights. The boss asks the children to hold their ears and Wolle floats into some pencils that pop the balloon and he pushes the black button and turns off the lights.
