Waterville is the main town seen in Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas. The small town is located along the river north of Frogtown Hollow.

The residents of Frogtown Hollow travel the river to shop and do business in Waterville. A talent contest is held each year in the Waterville Town Hall.

For the stage adaptation, an original song was written by Paul Williams as an introduction to the town and its residents.
