Little Muppet Monsters
Air Date September 14, 1985

Scooter sends the little Muppet monsters to the basement. The trio finds equipment and starts broadcasting their own TV show. They also encounter Nicky Napoleon and His Emperor Penguins, a group of penguins who broke into the basement and end up providing music for the show. Tug goes upstairs to convince Kermit to write something for the show - Kermit presents a story from Muppet City starring himself and Fozzie as private eyes. The monsters end the show with a big musical number about being on TV.

SCENE 1

Nicky Napoleon and His Emperor Penguins come in through the basement window, they want to break into the world of TV. Scooter puts Tug, Molly and Boo into the basement whilst he cleans up the mess that they had made upstairs.

They discover all the cool junk in the basement and realize that they can have fun using their imaginations.

A lightning bolt comes in through the window and sends a signal through the pile of junk, turning it into a TV set that the monsters can use to transmit to the rest of the house.

Gonzo appears in the junk TV set...

SCENE 2

The Monsters realize that they can make their own TV show, but don't know what to put on the air. Molly tries the junk TV set which then starts playing 'Muppet Sports' shorts.

The Monsters realize that as they have their own TV show they will need a theme tune. Nicky Napoleon takes this as his cue to come out of hiding and introduce him and his band. Boo sets them their first assignment; music for his 'Pigs in Space' story!

PART 1: The Swinetrek is running out of power because Link has plugged all of his toys into the mains, they will need to get to the nearest planet to refuel. Strangepork has invented 'The Transporker' to transport pork to anywhere in the universe. Link and Piggy get transported, but with their body parts all in the wrong order.

Tug goes up to Kermit's study and asks him to write a story for their show. Kermit writes about Muppet City, where him and Fozzie are detectives in 'Kermit the Frog, Private Eye'.

Someone has stolen Miss Piggy's piggy bank. Kermit and Fozzie find a wallet belonging to Stirling Elephant of the African jungle. They go to the jungle and find an igloo, which makes Kermit think that they need to go to the south pole. They discover that Banana Nose Maldonado (disguised as a polar bear) stole the piggy bank.
