Tori Kelly (b. 1992) is a Grammy-nominated recording artist who released her first album, Unbreakable Smile, in 2015. She made her first attempt at breaking into show-business in 2010 in an audition for American Idol, and has since gone on to work with India.Arie, Ed Sheeran, Pentatonix, James Corden, and Justin Timberlake. Also in 2015, she recorded a cover of "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas for the album We Love Disney.
In February 2016, Kelly appeared with Kermit the Frog in Disneyland 60 singing "Rainbow Connection."
Kelly filmed a segment for Sesame Street’s 47th season with Big Bird, Elmo, Grover, Cookie Monster, and Abby Cadabby in March 2016.
In the 2020 Global Citizen Prize broadcast, she was a backup singer to Alessia Cara in the "So Much Alike" segment. Later that same year, she competed on The Masked Singer as "The Seahorse," where one of her clues (a rainbow frog plush) referenced the "Rainbow Connection" duet.
In 2021, Kelly was the musical guest in episode 212 of The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo. That following year, she gave a musical performance at the Sesame Workshop Benefit Gala.
