SCENE 1 | Tom enjoys the sunny weather on Sesame Street today, and Maria goes to fetch some water for a couple of sunflowers growing near the construction doors. Tom asks the viewer to imagine what it would be like if there were no sun, and we see what would happen. It would be night all the time, and everyone's indoor lights would stay on. The plants wouldn't grow and start dying, and it would be cold all the time. Tom doesn't care for this, and stops pretending so everything could go back to the way it was.

This continues, until he succeeds in selling Ernie a piece of pumpkin seed candy so small that Ernie can't even see it. (First: Episode 0264)
