In the early 1980s, Hallmark created a series of buttons featuring Muppet characters. Some of these were sold with a cardboard insert for the back which could be used as a miniature display stand. The photo buttons featured Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, with a couple appearances by Fozzie Bear and Rowlf the Dog. Hallmark also produced sets of plastic lapel pins and enamel cloisonne pins in 1980.
