Westworld is an HBO series which premiered in 2016, based on the 1973 science fiction film of the same name written and directed by Michael Crichton. The starting premise in both versions is an amusement park inhabited by androids, also used for the 1976 film sequel Futureworld and the 1980 CBS TV series Beyond Westworld.

- A Netflix spoof called "Muppstream" shown at The Muppets Take the O2 featured Muppet versions of several popular TV shows. Rizzo the Rat spoofs the series as "Pestworld," sprawled out against an "M" inverted in contrast to the show's "W."
