Mosquitos participated in the chorus for "Shiver My Timbers" in Muppet Treasure Island. The computer animated insects were created by Jim Henson's Creature Shop. The technology used for the characters was used for Tizzy the Bee on The Animal Show. Jerry Nelson served as one of the performers.
