Mino Caprio (b. 1955) is an Italian voice actor with an extensive resume of animation and live-action film dubbing, including several Muppet projects.
Caprio is the current Italian voice of Kermit the Frog, having taken over the role from Willy Moser (the Italian Muppet Show Kermit), and has voiced the frog in every Muppet movie to date.
His other Henson dub credits include Eliot Shag on the dub of Dog City, Tutter on Bear Nella Grande Casa Blu (Bear in the Big Blue House), Belinda Cratchit in Festa in casa Muppet (The Muppet Christmas Carol), and Baby Kermit on the computer animated Muppet Babies.
Caprio dubbed C-3PO in all his Star Wars appearances after the original trilogy, Martin Short in several films (including Merlin), William H. Macy in Fargo, the title teddy bear in Ted and Ted 2, Austin Pendleton in Amistad, Gedde Watanabe in Alfie, Michael Jeter in Mouse Hunt, Andy Kaufman on Taxi, Daniel Davis on The Nanny, and Edward Hibbert on Frasier. Cartoon roles include The Inspector in the DePatie-Freleng shorts, Peter Griffin on Family Guy, Marvin the Martian in Looney Tunes: Back in Action, the peddler in Aladdin, Pesto on Animaniacs, and Geppetto in two different Italian animated Pinocchio features.
