Yankee Stadium, located in the Bronx in New York City, is the ballpark which serves as home stadium to the New York Yankees baseball team. The new Yankee Stadium opened on April 2, 2009, replacing the old stadium, which was built in 1923. The original stadium was often referred to as "The House that Ruth Built."

- 1966: The Southern Colonel visited the original Yankee Stadium in a Southern Bread commercial.
- 2012: Kermit the Frog and Michael Bloomberg were photographed sitting in for a Yankees game (against the Los Angeles Angels) held at the new Yankee Stadium on April 13. The Muppets were named NYC Family Ambassadors on the same day.
- 2019: Grover made an appearance at the stadium on March 10 for the NYC Football Club home opener. He received his very own soccer jersey, numbered 50 for the show's 50th anniversary.
- 2019: Big Bird (dressed in a green sports jersey, numbered 50) made an appearance at the stadium during a May 31 Yankees game against the Boston Red Sox. Big Bird also appeared at the stadium in an online video with manager Aaron Boone, and Alex Cora of the Red Sox, released on June 27.
