Melanie Taylor is a singer and actress who voiced the Red Palette in the 1997 Sesame Street Live stage show Elmo's Coloring Book.
Taylor was a back-up singer for Bette Midler, as one of the Harlettes, from 1993 until 2000. She has recorded with Melissa Manchester and Nickelback. She sang on and off-camera on Ally McBeal and played a choir member in Surviving Christmas (with Christina Applegate and James Gandolfini).
