"I Will Wait for You" is an Academy Award-nominated song from the 1964 French musical The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. Miss Piggy sings the song as a doll named "Fifi" in John Denver & the Muppets: A Christmas Together.
Her lover (John Denver, playing a toy soldier) returns to her in a slow-motion sequence which Piggy interrupts by saying, "I seem to remember doing this in a movie somewhere."
