	SCENE 1	Telly welcomes the viewer and explains to Maria and Luis that he's going to the Furry Arms for a special "Friends of 3" party. He's wearing three hats and bringing his triangles, anxiously wondering who the special guest will be. Benny Rabbit won't let him in however; he's only one and they're only admitting parties of 3. Telly begs Maria and Luis to join him and they relent, then struggle to fit through the revolving door.

	SCENE 2	Telly is amazed at all the numerical decorations around the hotel and meets the evening's three hosts - Sherry Netherland, Humphrey and Ingrid. Though there are few in attendance, Ms. Netherland welcomes the guests to the 3rd Tri-Annual Friends of Three party, then introduces the night's first 3 guests - the Three Little Pigs, who sing "The Alphabet Song." Everyone joins in as they sing the song over and over.

	Muppets	Grover and Rosita explain the concept of "love" in 15 seconds. Grover exasperates about the assignment, but Rosita intervenes just in time. (First: Episode 3527)

	SCENE 3	Ms. Netherland introduces the next guest - the Amazing Mumford, who brings Maria on as his assistant. She holds a pineapple he intends to turn into 3, but magically makes 3 Marias instead! Luis faints instantly, while Mumford finds his wand won't function. He dashes off ("Talk amongst yourselves," he tells the Marias), leaving his wand with Ms. Netherland.

	SCENE 4	To pass the time, Ms. Netherland starts a game of "Three of These Things" using herself and the 3 Marias. She waves the wand and turns her into a single Maria.

	Film	Xiao-Mei from northern China describes a festival at the end of every year that her family participates in. Each day of the festival, there is a new show to watch, a series of parades and lots of food like noodles and dumplings. Women prepare floats for the parade while men dress up as river animals. Xiao-Mei's favorite part or the festival is the lion dance. Xiao-Mei also demonstrates how she can walk on stilts which are strapped to her legs, and hopes someday to dance in the big parade.
