"I Left My Heart in San Francisco" is the signature song of Tony Bennett.
In episode 106 of Muppets Tonight, the Fully Operational Automated Tony Bennett sings the opening line of the song (while a projected background of San Francisco streets, including trolleys, plays behind him). Following the opening number Statler remarks in response to "I Left My Heart" that he once left his teeth in Minneapolis.
In a Sesame Street sketch where Farley visits the Lost and Found, the clerk is heard singing to himself, "I found my heart in San Francisco..."
