Kate Williams (b. 1941) is a British actress who played the chief maid in The StoryTeller episode "Sapsorrow."

Williams was a regular on the British sitcom Love Thy Neighbour (1972-1976) as open-minded wife Joan Booth (reprising it for the 1973 film version) and on later sitcoms May to December (1986-1994, as the female lead's mother) and Time After Time (1994-1995, as mother of an ex-con), plus episodes of On the Buses, Only Fools and Horses and Doctor at Large. Dramatic TV work includes the series Widows (regular as Audrey Whithers), a stint on the soap opera EastEnders (as Liz Turner, 2006-2010), and appearances on Lovejoy (with Ian McShane), Minder, The Bill, Casualty, Doctors, and Call the Midwife.

Williams appeared in film versions of sitcoms Til Death Do Us Part (as Til Death Us Do Part) and On the Buses (Holiday on the Buses, with Michael Robbins), played Jimmy's mother in Quadrophenia (1979), and took Victorian roles in the Dickens films Little Dorrit (1987, with Derek Jacobi and Robert Morley) and The Mystery of Edwin Drood (1993, as the opium woman).
