JC Penney

JC Penney is an American department store. Starting in 1973, JC Penney produced and sold a wide variety of children's clothing, shoes and accessories featuring the Sesame Street characters; see the JC Penney category for examples.

Its photo departments offer Sesame Street themed portraits, as of 2007.

• The department store was spoofed in several Sesame Street books as P.C. Nickles Department Store.

• In Miss Piggy's Rules, the department store is referred to as a real person who throws himself off a thirty-story building when offered the opportunity to spend an evening with Miss Piggy.
