Hanswernerbussinger

Hans-Werner Bussinger (1941-2009) was a German voice actor who dubbed Roy Hess on Die Dinos (Dinosaurs).

Bussinger appeared five times on the crime series Tatort and played the one-time lead investigator Haptkommissar Rullman in the 1984 episode "Rubecks Traum." He played another policeman, Kommissar Paschke, on the monkey-themed sitcom Unser Charley from 1997 until 2008. Bussinger was featured in the 1984 TV movie The Final Solution: The Wannsee Conference with many other German character actors (including Reinhard Glemnitz and Franz Rudnick).

As a voice actor, Bussinger frequently dubbed John Lithgow (including 3rd Rock from the Sun and Don Quixote), Jon Voight (including Varsity Blues and Transformers), and Steve Martin (The Man with Two Brains and Three Amigos). He also dubbed Ian McNeice in Around the World in 80 Days, Jon Polito in The Big Lebowski and The Honeymooners, Michael Caine in Without a Clue, Jim Carter in The Madness of King George, Dabney Coleman in The Man with One Red Shoe, and Paul Dooley in Insomnia. For television, he dubbed John de Lancie as Q in the Star Trek franchise, John Forsythe on Dynasty, and Jack Klugman on Quincy M.E.

Cartoon roles include Jock in the second dub of Lady and the Tramp, Granny Goodness on Justice League, Leatherhead on the 4Kids Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, Scratchpaws on Alfred J. Kwak, and Platini in the German animated feature The Fearless Four. For albums and audio books, he played Charles Augustus Milverton in a Titania Sherlock Holmes CD, Dr. Lanyon in Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and various parts in the Jan Tenner series.
