Cleo Laine and The Electric Mayhem perform the classic jazz standard "It Don't Mean a Thing", sometimes referred to as "It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)", in episode 216 of The Muppet Show. It also serves as the intro to Animal and Buddy Rich's drum battle in Episode 522. The song was spoofed on Sesame Street as "Dance, Dance, Dance".
