Taking its name from a famous performance act, Cirque Du So Lamé is a purportedly avant-garde stage piece directed by Luc Fromage, and very loosely based on "The Twelve Days of Christmas." Gonzo hires him to produce the number for the Muppets' Christmas Spectacular in It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie.
The short-lived rehearsal features three unnamed Muppets supporting the other featured players. The characters were originally designed by Jitka Exler for The Primitives.
Other performers include Mr. Poodlepants, The Bossmen, and Miss Piggy (as the five golden rings), with behind-the-scenes contributions from Rizzo, the Rats, and Scooter.
