Carmen Twillie, sometimes spelled Carmen Twilly, is a session singer who has worked in film, animation, commercial jingles, and as a solo vocalist. She provided the voice of Baby Bear's Aunt Ursula in the Sesame Street Live stage show 1-2-3 Imagine!. She also provided background vocals for Elmopalooza (1998).

Twillie's best known performance was in the Disney animated feature The Lion King, as the soloist for "The Circle of Life." Other cartoon chorus or solo credits include A Goofy Movie, Cat's Don't Dance, Rio, The Tigger Movie, the TV series Adventures from the Book of Virtues (theme song vocals), Happy Feet Two, and The Nightmare Before Christmas (in the latter, singing and speaking as the Undersea Gal and the Creature Under the Bed).

She has been an active backup singer in albums since the 1970s, heard in support of Tom Jones, Elton John, B. B. King, Diana Ross, and Ray Charles. Film score contributions include the 1986 Sylvester Stallone movie Cobra, Eddie Murphy movies Vampire in Brooklyn and Norbit, Matrix Revolutions, Watchmen, and the 2009 Star Trek film.
