PERFORMER | Manoel Inocêncio |
DEBUT | 1972 |
Seu Almeida appeared for the first time in 1972, in the children's program Vila Sésamo (the Brazilian version of Sesame Street). He was a resident for the entire run of the program.
Seu Almeida works as a vendor at his warehouse (called "Armazém do Seu Almeida", or translated as "Warehouse of Mr. Almeida"). He interacts with all of his Vila Sésamo neighbors, inside or outside his store. Kind, good listener and a great friend to children, Almeida played a leading role in teaching values and civic morality.[1]
He appeared, or at least was mentioned, in all episodes of the program.
