Madame Alma Cluck and the Poultry Choir performed "Il Alphabetto" in the 1990s on Sesame Street. As conducted by a turkey conductor, Madame Alma Cluck (voiced by Ivy Austin) sang lead, often accompanying her high notes with grand wing gestures. These gestures often tended to hit the singers behind her, much to their annoyance.

Madame Alma Cluck is a parody of Alma Gluck, a famous American soprano.
