Tetris

Tetris is a block-stacking video game originally developed by Russian game designer Alexey Pajitnov and released in 1984.

• The game was spoofed in the Muppet Babies episode "It's Only Pretendo." Baby Fozzie attempts to play a version of the game, stacking blocks in the Nursery, but soon becomes overwhelmed and can't keep up.

• In the 2016 music video for "I Don't Want to Live on the Moon," a Tetris game appears in the background as Lennon & Maisy sing about the "strange places" they'd like to be.

• Gonzo tweeted on January 19, 2019: "I need something more exciting than video games! Who's up for playing a life-size game of Tetris? I'll be the blocks!! 👾" [1]
