Sesame Street music toys (Blue Box/LewCo)

In 1986, Blue Box Toys produced a Sesame Street Rhythm Band Set, with five pieces: a marching drum and sticks, a Cookie Monster tambourine, Ernie and Bert maracas, Oscar the Grouch cymbals and a Little Bird slide whistle.

In 1988, some of these pieces were reissued by LewCo, as a line of individually packaged music toys. The Cookie Monster tambourine and Ernie and Bert maracas from the original set were joined by Cookie Monster castanets, a Cookie Monster kazoo, and a harmonica labeled Ernie's 8 note Tooter.
