Adam Matalon is a director of Sesame Street segments and video projects. He directed and produced the recurring Jane Tuesday series of live-action inserts. Many of the segments he produced, usually through Chatsby Films, involved actors dressed as letters.
The letter costumes device resurfaced for All-Star Alphabet, with Matalon directing and producing the wrap-around footage of guest hosts Nicole Sullivan and Stephen Colbert. For the Sesame Beginnings video series, he directed the live-action scenes with babies.
Matalon began as a stage manager, first on Bear in the Big Blue House and then on Sesame Street for Season 34 and 35.
Matalon would go on to stage manage Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and direct episodes of the reality series American Pickers and Billy the Exterminator.
