Genies

Genies are mythical Arabian creatures with supernatural abilities. The most famous version of the genie is in the fable of Aladdin.

	The Muppets (comic strip) (1983)	A pig is seen as a genie in the August 7, 1983 strip. Upon Piggy's wish, he officiates a wedding between Kermit and Piggy.
	The Muppets (comic strip) (1984)	Another pig is seen as a genie in the May 20, 1984 strip. Fozzie attempts to make a wish, but the genie does not speak English.
	Fraggle Rock (1985)	The Mean Genie in episode 309 "Wembley and the Mean Genie"
	Muppet Babies (1985)	Baby Animal in "When You Wish Upon a Muppet."
	Bert and the Magic Lamp (1989)	Ernie finds a magic lamp that grants wishes for Bert.

	Sesame Street (1994)	Cheech Marin plays a genie in Episode 3259.
	Brought to You by the Number 3 (1999)	Elmo frees a genie from a magic lamp, who grants him three wishes (all relating to the number 3).
	Plaza Sésamo (2001)	Abelardo Montoya unleashes a Multimuppet genie that grants him a wish for a kite in Episodio 747.

	Abby's Flying Fairy School (2009)	Gene the Genie refuses to go back in a bottle.
