description	British pop singer Natasha Bedingfield performed with the Muppets for "A Capital Fourth," a Fourth of July celebration on the West Lawn of the US Capitol on July 3, 2,009, in Washington, DC. This was actually a dress rehearsal, done the day before July 4. Since the actual event on July 4 could get rained out, the show's producers wanted a clean take at the dress rehearsal, so Natasha and the Muppets performed the song twice. The song is "Sing a Song," which was first done by the Carpenters in the 1,970s. This segues into a quickie version of "Yankee Doodle." That's the National Symphony Orchestra providing the music. I shot this with my Canon Vixia HF11 AVCHD camcorder.
