COLD OPEN | What's the Word on the Street?: Plan
SCENE | Elmo finds Zoe has set up tons of decorations for a wedding tonight - Rocco's, who will be marrying fellow rock, Petra. Elmo can't believe this, as usual, asserting Rocco's just a rock. Zoe shows him her plans and first up is the cake. "Sweets for the sweethearts!," cries the baker, who drops off the cake. However, there's a mistake - it reads "OCCO" instead. Elmo thinks of what's missing and finds the problem - it's missing the "R" and finds one and places it on the cake.
SCENE cont'd | Next in the plan is Rocco's tuxedo. Using a special kit, Zoe dresses him up, but discovers it's missing the tie. Rocco is about to call off the wedding, when Elmo finds a solution. He gets two small triangles, which, when put together, make up his bow tie.
SCENE cont'd | Now, it's time for the guests to arrive. But, Zoe and Rocco are upset no one's shown up yet. Elmo believes it; who would go to a wedding for a rock? Sure enough, Leela arrives with Chris and Alan, who've closed Hooper's Store early just for the occasion. It's Elmo's job to count them and make sure there are 14 guests (Rocco's favorite number). Soon, more guests arrive (including Gina, Bob, Luis, Maria, Herry and the kids), but they're short one guest. Telly rushes in, hoping he's not late and Elmo adds him to the total.
SCENE cont'd | Zoe fetches bride Petra and points out how beautiful she looks. Zoe then shows there's one more thing left on the plan - Rocco needs a best man. Because he's saved the wedding on several occasions today, he chooses Elmo. He accepts, flattered, though doesn't know what to do. Zoe says he'll simply have to carry Rocco and Elmo rushes into his tuxedo for the ceremony. Zoe starts it, as she and Elmo carry the rocks down the isle, singing a special wedding song for them ("Two Little Rocks").
SCENE cont'd | An Anything Muppet affiliates and (as Zoe speaks for both rocks) declares them rock and rock. Elmo and Zoe kiss them together and the guests all cheer.
