COLD OPEN | What's the Word on the Street?: Sturdy
SCENE | Rosita and Telly welcome the viewer (in Spanish and English, respectively) and notice the street littered with various booths. Mando explains that today's the Latino Street Festival, and he's having trouble building his booth on Puerto Rico (his place of origin). He recommends they look around while he deals with his uncooperative construction.
SCENE cont'd | The two find their way to the Mexico booth, where Luis and Maria are. Luis explains to Telly (who thinks Luis doesn't belong at the booth; he's from Sesame Street, not Mexico) that he's Mexican-American because of his parents. Maria states she's not from Mexico but Puerto Rico (like Mando, who continues to fumble with his booth). While Maria tends to Mando, Luis discovers a coquรญ on the ground, a type of frog native to Puerto Rico. Maria had borrowed him for the booth and the monsters offer to take it back.
SCENE cont'd | Telly and Rosita make their way back, when the coquรญ hops from their grip and out of sight. They tell Mando, who offers to help, but must tend to his booth when it falls apart again. He suggests they go ask a nearby penguin.
SCENE cont'd | They visit the Peru booth and Telly asks the penguin (voiced by Jasmine Romero) if she's seen the frog. She doesn't understand English, so Rosita asks her in Spanish (not knowing they also speak it in Peru). The penguin states it's under the table, but when they look, it hops away again. They go back to Mando, who again says he'll help before his booth comes apart. He points them toward the Cuba booth, where he thinks it went.
SCENE cont'd | They visit the Cuba stand, where the rooster curator says the coquรญ is in the flowers. He hops away again, and the chase leads them to the Puerto Rico booth. Maria has just finished repairing, but the monsters and birds end up tipping it over. Maria recovers the coquรญ and he's put back in his tank. Telly is amazed that everyone's been speaking Spanish today and is told all the countries speak it all the time. Rosita's glad: she can now make friends all over the world! Mando leads the festival patrons in a song about their shared language, while the coquรญ croaks along from his tank at the finally constructed Puerto Rico booth.

However, a magic lock is on it. Once unlocked (using Nibletโs horn), a hoard of Fairy Dust Bunnies are unleashed. Unfortunately, Mrs. Sparklenose is allergic to the dust bunnies and once they come in contact with her, her nose sparkles and blinks once. She sneezes and turns the students into frogs. They make up a magic word to return them back to normal (Gezundenshniffle). Her nose blinks twice now, turning them into chickens. They realize they have to say their word for every time her nose blinks to return to normal. Her nose blinks thrice and they turn into cheese and are then chased by a hungry Niblet. After returning to normal, they call on Spot, who shows them a video of a robot โunderโ various things. They see that to get the dust bunnies gone, they need to go back under the rug. He uses his powers of investigation and claims they're on the wrong sides. They switch places, but the boat is still uneven. He thinks he can make the elephant lighter by having him remove his hat, but it doesn't work, but they could make the sheep's side heavier to match the elephant's weight. Grover zooms off and gets two more sheep and throws them into the boat, which makes it almost proportional, but not enough.
