COLD OPEN | What's the Word on the Street?: Liquid
SCENE | Alan and Chris introduce Sesame Street's first-ever Bubble Fest! Elmo, Abby, Telly and the kids gather for the festivities. Telly is excited, as he's never blown a bubble before, and neither has Abby (her mommy's always made them with magic). After Chris and Alan demonstrate how to blow a bubble, Abby gives it a try and makes some bubbles. Telly blows into his wand, but no bubbles come out. He leaves, determined to find a way to blow bubbles.
SCENE con't | Next, Alan and Chris introduce the "Bubble Fest Bubble Mix Mystery," which reveals the ingredients for bubbles. The mystery is how much of each ingredient they need. Their first solution doesn't produce bubble soap, so they change the amount of soap they use and get some bubbles! Telly returns with his tuba, thinking the air that comes out will blow bubbles from the wand. After he leaves, Alan and Chris pose a bubble riddle; the answer turns out to be "a bubble" (due to the occasion). Alan then shows them how you can see colors in a bubble. Telly returns once more with a bellow, which pumps air into the wand, but doesn't produce a bubble. He goes off on his quest, starting to lose hope.
SCENE cont'd | Up next is the Bubble Fest "Pop" Quiz, where Alan and Chris ask Elmo and Abby what items on the table can one blow bubbles from. All of them turn out to work. Finally, it's time for the Bubble Fest Finale, where they show how they can fit a human child inside a bubble. Crystal steps into a dish in a large soapy pool, where Alan and Chris make a bubble around her. Telly comes back with a fan, but it blows him away instead of the bubble wand. He sighs into his wand, creating some bubbles.

When asking how one can catch a bubble, Ovejita pops up and exclaims, "ยกVamos a averiguarlo!" In the park, Sara Sweetman and the kids make theories as to why bubbles pop and plan their experiment. Murray can't wait and queues something while we wait...

Muppets / Animation | Abby's Flying Fairy School Today is Letter B Day and the students have brought things that begin with B. Abby brings a bunny that begins to bop everyone on the head. Consulting her Big Book of Bopping Beasts, Mrs. Sparklenose discovers that he's Little Bunny Foo-Foo. To get him to stop bopping they need to turn him into a goon. Gonnigan gets in the way and is turned into a goon (Blรถgg: "He's Goonigan!"). After de-goonifying him, they Twinkle-Think and get the idea to attach him to their heads. Being Letter B Day, Blรถgg uses some bubblegum, but Bunny Foo-Foo frees himself just as the spell is cast, turning Blรถgg into a goon (though his appearance remains unchanged). Abby places a carrot on her head, but he escapes just in time again and Abby becomes a goon. Because of Letter B Day, they must use some B-word vegetables. He goes for the bait and is turned back to a goon. With no more bopping, he leads the class in a ballet.
Muppets | Before "Super Grover 2.0" comes, Murray and the kids must perform their experiment. While dipping hands in dirt doesn't work, the kids observe that tin foil and soapy water keep the bubbles on their hands. Murray is ready to test the rest, following the next segments...

Muppets | Super Grover 2.0: Pretty Good Wall Super Grover 2.0 comes to the aid of a chicken, who needs to get to the other side of "The Pretty Good Wall of China." Grover observes that she has wings, but she states she can't fly. Next, Grover investigates by trying to ask the wall to shrink down, while the chicken tries to hop over, knocking them both over. Grover browses his utility sock for some technology and finds some springs to help the chicken jump over. The springs are shoddy and cause her to fall onto of him ("Might I say that you are no spring chicken?"). He then pulls out a "hole-poker-ma-bob" (a pole) to pierce the wall. He gets a running start and smashes into the wall. He tries again and the chicken gets in the way, causing him to stick the pole on the ground and he is sent flying. The chicken realizes he's made a lever and uses a larger pole to polevalt over the wall. Grover makes an attempt too, but is flung into the wall again. (no music button) (First: Episode 4228)

Notes[]
- A "Bubble Consultant" was present during the taping of this episode to check the consistency of the bubble solutions.[1]
- Telly previously tried his hand at bubble blowing in a 1995 episode. In that, Telly gave up after many failed attempts, however he discovered another way to make bubbles by waving the bubble wand around.
