SCENE | Gina welcomes the viewer to Sesame Street. Elmo is looking forward to playing checkers with her today, but it becomes difficult because Marco needs his mommy's attention. Gina thinks he needs to eat, so she leaves with Marco to get his baby food, leaving Elmo all alone. |

Meanwhile, Baby Bear and his little sister Curly are playing a game of tag. Baby Bear asks Elmo if he wants to join, but Elmo sighs and says no. He feels upset that Gina is always busy with Marco. Why does Marco get so much attention while Elmo gets none? Baby Bear explains that Curly needed a lot of attention when she first came home from the hospital after she was born: she had to be fed, dressed and bathed. But eventually she grew, and now she doesn't need as much attention. Baby Bear assures Elmo that the same will happen to Marco, and returns to his game of tag. Elmo comes to the conclusion that one must have to be a baby to get attention, and suddenly becomes inspired ... |

When Gina returns from Hooper's with Marco, she finds Elmo sitting in Marco's stroller, pretending to be a baby himself! Gina plays along, but wishes Elmo could be himself again so they can play their game. |

Elmo stops pretending, but asks Gina if she really wants to play checkers. She assures Elmo, "I've Got Enough Love to Go Around," and she'll always make special time to be with both of them. And while Marco still needs to be taken care of, Elmo can teach Marco lots of new things and when he's old enough, they can play together and be friends. Elmo starts to show Marco how he and Gina play checkers. |
