SCENE | The scene starts off with three girls doing a short dance. When they are finished, they passed Snuffy wearing a cloud outfit and said hi to him. Snuffy says hi back and continues walking on, singing softly to "If I Was a Cloud in the Sky". | |

Snuffy wants to be a real cloud in the sky. He wonders how he is going to get up there. He tries jumping up in the sky, but it doesn't work. | |

On the other side, the Count watch as Oscar ties a balloon around Slimey so that he can float in the air. Watching Slimey floating in the air has made Snuffy realized he can float in the sky with the clouds by having balloons tied to him. However, he realized he doesn't have any money. The Count suggested that he can make a wish since it worked for Cinderella. | |

So Snuffy wished for a balloon and the Fairy Balloon Person (Richard Kind) comes to grant his wish. Since it's going to take 40 balloon to lift him up, the Fairy Balloon Person keeps adding 5 balloons each time until they reach 40 balloons, while the Count counts each balloon by 5. When 20 balloons were on Snuffy, the balloon wand wasn't working. The Fairy Balloon person had to find more balloons and get his wand fix. | |

At that moment, Big Bird and the Birdketeers arrived and was wondering what Snuffy was doing. Snuffy explained that he's going to float through the air and be a cloud. He sings, "If I Was a Cloud in the Sky", and does a dance. | |

Finally the Fairy Balloon Person comes back with more balloons and adds 20 balloons by 5 to make 40 balloons. Soon Snuffy was floating through the air. | |

While Snuffy is happy to be seeing birds and other clouds, he starts to get cold and lonely being all by himself. He wishes to go back down and his wish is granted. | |

Snuffy realizes that everyone he loves is down on Sesame Street and that he would rather be a Snuffleupagus than a cloud any day. The Fairy Balloon Person goes off to Mister Rogers' Neighborhood because someone needs a balloon there. In the end, Snuffy wishes to be a Birdketeer and goes off with Big Bird and the Birdketeers. The Count follows after them as he counts their tweeting. | |
