SCENE 1 Big Bird is walking down the Street, saying hi to everyone he meets. He passes by Elmo and Telly, who are sitting on the steps of 123 Sesame Street. When he leaves, Elmo and Telly both started to chant “Story!” together and then Baby Bear comes by chanting too. They notice the viewer and welcomes them as Baby Bear introduce today's sponsors. Telly mentions that the reason why he, Elmo, and Baby Bear are chanting story is because they are going to take turns at telling a story together that Maria has taught them. However, they find it more fun swaying back and forth while chanting “Story!” over again.

SCENE 7 Elmo and Telly are still waiting for Baby Bear and wondering when he is going to arrive. Just then, Maria comes out from 123 Sesame Street and says hi to Elmo and Telly, who are startled when they hear her. She asks what is wrong with them and Elmo and Telly explain to her that they are waiting for Baby Bear to tell them the end of their story. Suddenly, Elmo tells Telly that they could both make up their own ending to their story. While Maria thought it is better to wait till Baby Bear comes back, Telly likes Elmo’s idea and tells Elmo to go first. Elmo’s ending was that Sir Cowboy Telly got scared and ran off while Sir Elmotine gets the number 17. Telly’s ending was that Sir Elmotine went home to take a nap and the dragon likes Sir Cowboy Telly’s hat that he gave the number 17 to him. They both ask Maria which ending she liked best and Maria doesn’t know how to tell them. At that moment, Baby Bear comes back and Elmo, Telly, and Maria are happy to see him. Now, Baby Bear can tell his ending to the story.
