	SCENE 1	Big Bird welcomes the viewer and introduces the sponsors for today. He adds that today, he and Snuffy will be walking around the entire block. However, Snuffy shows up to report that he has to cancel - his Snufflegarden is putting on a number play (he'll be playing the number 1) and he must go to an emergency rehearsal. As Snuffy heads off, Big Bird gets the idea to ask Maria.

	SCENE 2	Big Bird asks Maria to walk with him, but she's too busy fixing all the toasters for the National Toast Lover's breakfast luncheon. One member (Martin P. Robinson) arrives with yet another to fix. Maria points out Gordon running by and recommends Big Bird go with him instead.

	SCENE 3	Big Bird finally catches up with Gordon, who tells him they can walk later; he's jogging now and wants the exercise. Big Bird thinks they can both go around the block together; he'll walk while Gordon jogs. However, Gordon is already down the block before Big Bird takes a few steps. He hears some honking from the Honkers, thinking they'll be good walking companions.

	SCENE 5	"What is this world coming to when a bird can't find someone he knows for a nice, little, friendly stroll?," Big Bird wonders aloud. Zoe, Telly and Bob all yell from the apartments above, telling Big Bird they can't right now; maybe later. Snuffy returns from his rehearsal, but now must take Alice to her pre-Snufflegarden play about the alphabet (she's the letter D). In desperation, Big Bird asks the fire hydrant to join him.
	Cartoon	D for Dance: Ladies on stage dance a can-can to the tune of "The Infernal Gallop" from Jacques Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld, the lyrics of which are all the letter D. (First: Episode 3499)

	SCENE 6	Big Bird gives up on finding someone, when Slimey makes his presence know and wants to join him. Big Bird asks Oscar's permission first and he tells Big Bird to walk at a "worm's space" so Slimey won't have to keep up. Big Bird doesn't want to be gone all day, though and thinks of another solution.

	Muppets / Celebrity	Trisha Yearwood sings "I'm Talkin' Love" to explain to Herry Monster about how she feels when she misses her friend who is very far away (further than China or New Jersey even). Baby Bear and Grover happen by to help sing back-up before her friend arrives. At the end, a Martian materializes and Herry notes, "Some guys have all the luck."
