	SCENE 1	Baby Bear is wearing his Papa Bear's hat because it makes him feel like his papa and he begins to do his impression of him. Telly is impressed and wishes to wear the hat too, but Baby Bear denies him.

	Muppets	Cookie Monster is about to eat a cookie, when a sad-looking girl approaches and stares at him. He tries to eat the cookie, but can't do it. He breaks the cookie in half and shares the cookie with the girl. He eats his half of the cookie. When the girl eats her half, she eats it just like Cookie Monster. (First: Episode 0623)
	Cartoon	"Angry Annie": A small girl vents her rage at the world, frustrated by the problems of everyday life, until her younger brother offers her part of his orange. (new music added) Artist: John Korty (First: Episode 2087) cut from the Noggin version
	SCENE 2	Telly points out to Baby Bear that they're friends and friends share with each other. Baby Bear realizes this and tries to give the hat to Telly, but can't bring himself to do it; he's having too much fun being Papa Bear and if Telly had the hat, he'd be depriving his friend of fun. With no solution in sight, they go to Maria for help.
	Muppets	Ernie & Bert — Ernie tries to put a pot on Bert's head. Bert asks Ernie why he's doing that, and Ernie says that he broke a cookie jar. Ernie has to put the cookies somewhere, so he put them in the sugar bowl – and put the sugar in the flowerpot, which meant that he had to put the flower in a milk bottle. He put the milk in the soda bottle, the soda into the fishbowl, and the fish in Bert's cowboy hat. Bert asks, "Now what am I going to wear when I want to play cowboy?" Ernie puts the pot on Bert's head and says, "Ride 'em, cowboy, Bert!" (First: Episode 0305)

	SCENE 3	The two rush up to Maria and explain their dilemma. Her suggestion - take turns. They think it's a great idea and take turns. Baby Bear hands the hat to Telly, who feels a great amount of special power from it ("Finally, I'll be able to experience the thrill of being Papa Bear. Feel the power of his brute strength, yet also his gentle, sensitive side."). Telly does his impression and they pass the hat to each other. As they leave, Maria notes, "There go two very happy Papa Bears."

	SCENE 6	Gina and the kids are going to play a game based on the previous segment, but need an object to use. The two Papa Bears happen by and let them use the hat (provided the game be short and they get it back afterwards). They pretend the hat is a steering wheel, a bowl of porridge, a spaceship and a basketball hoop.
	SCENE 6 cont'd	They take the hat back and keep pretending, when they run into the real Papa Bear, who wants his hat back.

	SCENE 7	Telly and Baby Bear play with the hat one last time before letting Papa Bear have it back. Gina comforts them, saying they could find another hat. They don't think there's another hat as good as Papa Bear's, so she turns their attention to a hat montage (featuring clips from various Muppet, film and animated inserts). Telly spots one he likes (from the "Tall Short Texans" cartoon) and goes to the cowboy from it and borrows his hat. The two start playing cowboy with it.
